Follow the A171, south, from Guisborough to Whitby, at the top of the bank, reservoir on the right, turn off to the right for CASTLETON.
You then watch for the signpost directing you to the right for COMMONDALE.
At the bottom of a very very steep bank you enter the village.
As you go through the village (only small) the site is signposted on the right.

Training Centre - A Work in Progress

After the removal of the roof and walls, another working weekend was arranged for 2nd July where the floor was lifted.

For several weekends volunteers have been stripping bare the inside of the main hall of the training centre then
on the weekend of 10/11th June 2006 the roof and the main structure were taken down.
Below are some photos of the brave few, who under a raging sun and in sweltering heat got the work done.
